According to the modern economy and information gathered from discussions from other classes, it is found to be present that, America, the country was discovered by some European one. This person has belonged to European expedition based families who had the profession and passion to discover new lands in the lap of the world. Name of these expediters varies in different sources like Leif Eriksson, Ericsson and others (Miller, 2019). Some of the peoples also reported about the expedition of an Irish monk Brandon as the first explorer of America in the Sixth century. In the 15th century, it was believed that Chinese mariners belonging from eunuch mariner had discovered America first, which was supported by historians like Gavin Menzies.
The great sailor, Christopher Columbus had reached America with some special business-oriented determination. In this aspect, it is found from different primary sources of information that, mainly he had made four trips across the Atlantic Ocean from Spain from 1492 to 1502. His intention was not to discover a new land but to find out the direct water-based route from Europe to Asia. During these expeditions, he had suddenly reached to America (Carle, 2019).
I don't believe that Columbus was an explorer because it is already proved from many sources that, America was discovered 100 years ago of Columbus's expeditions by a passionate explorer named Leif Eriksson around 1000 AD. On the other hand, Amerigo Vespucci was another sailor who had proved this that Columbus was not an explorer as during Columbus's voyage Americas were not known by any sources as the existing land mass in the world.
