8. Types of Student Visa: They are generally of two types.

• Tier 4 (General) Student visa: In October 2020, it has been changed to "Student Route". The UK has a new student visa called the Student Route that will be open to EEA nationals as well. Prior to Brexit, these individuals could study in the UK without a visa. The Student Route (for students over the age of 18) and the Child Student Route are separated from it (for students aged 4-17, which has replaced the Tier 4 Child Student Visa). If they want to enter the country after January 1, 2021, citizens of the EU/EEA must additionally apply for visas.
