According to Allende, the title highlight the biblical account which suggests that humans are created from the dirt of earth (Mueller et al., 2019). The author reveals an idea that demonstrates people are the one who can destroy other people. As per the story was written by Allende, humanity plays a significant role which shows that human being has always possessed a connection with the earth.
The author tries to explain that people buried in clay through the adverse impact of natural disasters that may even lead to the death of this particular person(Thomson, 2015).
