9-1) As the history goes back, postmortem started after World War II and fundamentally it rejects the Enlighten belief in scientific rationality. Postmortem reached criminology in the 1980s. The critical criminology has emerged and the new direction of it has been examined a lot in the last forty years. At the beginning of 1970s, the development and status of the “new criminology” have been explored. According to the European approach, each of the new terms related to the new criminology has been an example of “postmortem criminology”. Postmortem fails to reveal the full truth and it does not fully reveal the scientific inquiry about the injury. This is why the realism is left in case of postmortem. Time is an important factor in the postmortem. If the postmortem is carried on lately, chances are there that neither doctor nor police, as well as the relatives of the dead body, will come to know what actually happened to the body. The partial knowledge and the provisional truth of the postmortem affected the scientific belief of the people. The diverse range of critical criminologies should not be taken for granted, postmortem criminology being one of it, as they mask self-interest, inhumanity, and inequality among people. 10-2) Feminism is a cultural and political movement which aims to provide equal rights to women and it also protects women. Feminists in criminology have provided some new perspectives and changes in gender criminology in quite an important way. As history says, women were not involved in making decisions related to laws and also the affected women were ignored by everyone for several decades. The first wave of feminism came in the United States in the mid-19 century. After that, their perspectives, resolutions, and approaches have led to revealing some of the unique truths, experiences and harassments that women face in their daily life (1). The involvement of women in the criminology has led to the much-needed attention towards the victimization of women. One such example is sexual and physical violence that are physiological issues and happens in day to day life. Back in history, these were the common and frequent issues arising but were ignored. Through the efforts and approached of women, there has been a law established for such people who harass the women. Women are no longer considered as an exchange to men’s urge for sexual interest and through the feminist movement, the dignity, respect, and equality of women are maintained. (Lilly, Cullen & Ball, 2015)
