Point

In the current study, research is carried out to know the factors responsible for the widespread of the disease among the people who handle food in the prison of East and west Gojjam, Ethiopia.

Broad Topic Area/Title

Prevalence and Associated Factors of Intestinal Parasitic Infections among Food Handlers at Prison, East and West Gojjam, Ethiopia

Problem Statement

(What is the problem research is addressing?)

The Problem that is addressed by the research is to know the factors that are responsible for the widespread of Intestinal parasitic infections among the people who handle food in the prison of East and West Gojjam, Ethiopia.

Purpose Statement

(What is the purpose of the study?)

The purpose of the study is to know the reasons that are mainly responsible for the spread of Intestinal parasitic infection among the people who handle food in the prison of East and West Gojjam, Ethiopia. Because of the unhygienic conditions maintained by the people who handle food in prison, it results in the transmission of infections to the other group of people who lives in society.

Research Questions

(What questions does the research seek to answer?)

The questions that the research wants to answer are to know the different reasons for the spread of disease. From the research, the researcher wants to know whether personal hygienic factors, Socioeconomic factors, Environmental factors, Sociodemographic factors are responsible for the spread of disease.

Define Hypothesis

(Or state the correct hypothesis based upon variables used)

The hypothesis that was concerned for this problem is there is a close connection between maintaining unhygienic conditions and the spread of parasitic infections. Factors like not washing hands properly after toilet, and Sociodemographic factors like more members in the family, gender difference, age and the locality where they live. It is also known that helminth infections are less common than protozoan infections and by self-medication, they are easily becoming resistant.

Discuss Data Analysis

Include what types of statistical tests were used for the variables.

Information was coded, entered into Epi Data form 3.1, and sent out to Statistical package for social science model 20 measurable bundle for examination. Regularity, rates, tables, and figures were utilized to portray the discoveries. Mean and the standard deviation was used to condense the information. Relationship between independent and dependent factors was dictated by utilizing chances proportion with 95% certainty interim what's more, at 0.05pvalues. Factors which have a p-value not exactly 0.2 were taken for multivariate examination. A p-value not exactly 0.05 was considered as huge.

Summarize Results of Study

From the investigation of 416 members, the members with a reaction rate of 82.7% were incorporated into the investigation. The time for investigating the subjects was set for 28.00 years (+SD), SD 10.590, the range of age is from 14 to 60 years, and 70% (241) of the members involved in the study are male subjects.
